The midnight sale is back… The shut’em down crew is back… It’s time to roll out to Georgetown Friday Night, as MAJOR presents the return of the midnight sale with the first-ever Air Jordan Levi’s 23/501 Pack collab release.

This is what the collectors and Jordan fans have wanted all along, an innovative use of material, on 2 classic silhouettes, Jordan 1, and Levi’s 501 XX Shrink To Fit Jeans. The midnight sale lineup will start at 7 p.m., and we will post all available size combinations at 8 p.m.. Shortly before midnight, you will be guided into MAJOR, so that you can check out at the crack of midnight.

Each numbered (out of 2323) collectible package comes with a Jordan 1 sneaker, Levi’s 501 Jeans with elephant print on the inside and shoe-guard to keep from bleeding ink, and a special collab t-shirt all pictured above.

Please refrain from any phone calls, or hold requests, as it will not be honored. All sizes are pre-determined by Jordan Brand, and we will not be able to let you try on anything inside the package. Please make good neighbors with your fellow lineup guys, as you may need the jean size that they’re getting.

Yet another sick fitted from King Stampede. The fitted matches well with the Waterproof Tech Jacket we featured in December (here). The cap comes in red and black, and has 2 nautical bars wrapping around the body of the cap.

The 1991 Dunk Contest should bring back many memories for everyone. That was the year Dee Brown pumped his kicks and dunked it while covering his eyes. Dee crushed Shawn Kemp , and in the process made these Reebok Pumps and instant classic.

Back in the day, DC helped to put New Balance brand on the map by adopting the brand as the official DC sneaker. All grey New Balances were on everyone’s feet, and New Balance became “street credible” in many pockets of the world, thanks to all the DC dudes rocking them.

Fast forward to 2008, New Balance has chosen MAJOR as one of the world’s top 33 sneaker retailers to launch their 2008 Super Team 33 Sneakers.  Our first offering is the 998 Luggage Pack, pictured below.

The shoes are available now, but to celebrate the launch of the Super Team 33, MAJOR, in association with New Balance, is hosting a launch party at The Fly Lounge on March 5th.  Music will be provided DJ Underdog, and Damu The Fudgemunk of Y-Society.  Make sure you RSVP, as space is limited.

MAJOR, New Balance & DC = Winning Combination Like No Other!

When the folks at adidas Remix Underground group approached us about doing our version of the EQT B-Ball, we were super excited about the opportunity to create something extra-ordinary, with the silhouette that we really like in EQT line.

For inspiration, we looked no further than one of Duk-ki’s favorite shoes of all time, Jordan XI Space Jams. If you love that shoe, as many of us do, you don’t need an explanation of where carbon fiber, clear ice sole, and patent leather toe vamp came from.

We didn’t forget to add MAJOR touch to the shoe! We have a metallic gold MAJOR embroidery, as well as speckled midsole, and speckled sock (another Jordan design cue). But before finishing the shoe, we had to pay homage to our home city, the place where we come from - Washington DC. For those of you familiar with the Capitol of the Free World, you will recognize the Metro Map, considered by many as one of the cleanest and most efficient mass transportation systems in the world.

The shoe comes with 3 sets of laces (black, gold, and black w/ carbon fiber print tips), and additional gold sock. The first release is for our DC family only, limited to 30 pairs, no phone orders, and no holds. The doors will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 23rd, and it’s first-come, first-served. Don’t believe the hype about the price either, it’s set at $150!

Look for the announcement about an additional release in late March/early April to coincide with matching New Era 59Fifty & Pillbox fitted release, along with what other stores in the US will be carrying these exclusive MAJOR collab kicks.
