We don’t half step when it comes to keeping the ladies on point with kicks. Today, we present two guaranteed classics. First, the Women’s Nike Outbreak is a perfect fit for ladies into vintage kicks. The Outbreak was a popular shoe among women and kids, even though it was made for men, during the late 80’s. Second is the Dunk Hi Premium w/ Zoom Air, which comes in black, dark pink, and purple frost. It also has a metallic - mesh toe box. Ladies, you matter, as always @ MAJOR!

Perhaps the single common shoe that everyone at MAJOR loves is the original Air Safari by Nike, which was rocked by Biz Markie on his album cover for “Biz’s Goin Off.” Air Safari was also the first sneaker ever designed by the legendary designer, Tinker Hatfield, who had just transitioned himself to become a sneaker designer, after being Nike’s corporate architect. Perhaps this is the reason why all of us are super excited about the release of an Air Force 1 Supreme that is a tribute to the Original Air Safari colorway.

Under the direction of Sheldon Donnell, adidas has come a long way this year from being a guaranteed, but distant, 2nd place finisher to Nike in premium athletic footwear category. These days, adidas is more strategic, style-friendly, and culturally relevant in the US, like it never has been before. The latest projects from the 3 stripes show the promise the brand has for the future:

First up, Superstar Jam Master Jay Tribute:

Jason Mizell, a.k.a. Jam Master Jay (R.I.P.), was not only 1/3 of the pioneering rap trio Run DMC, but also an early influencer in style. It was Jason who introduced Joey (Run) and Darryl (DMC) to rocking leather jackets, and shelltoe adidas sneakers with no laces. Years later, while Run jumped ship from being the adidas guy to running Run Athletics brand with his brother, Russell Simmons, Jay kept his loyalty to adidas, and was always seen rocking adidas kicks.

In honor of JMJ’s life, adidas has released the Superstar JMJ Tribute. MAJOR is honored to be carrying the shoe that bears the name and image of a true pioneer.

Next up, we have a new updated version of Stan Smith, it’s Stan Smith 2.5 Comfort, which features an autoclave sole unit, along with clean velcro enclosure for that easy access during the warm weather. Equally great from the streets of DC to the streets of Miami, or the Bay, this is definitely not the old Stan Smith, but the updated symbol of luxury from adidas.

Finally, from the highly acclaimed Tournament Edition Series of most authentic tennis retros, we present the Nastase.

AIR MAX 1 PREMIUM SP (white/white/new blue - black) - Another shoe strictly for OG Nike loyalists.  Made with ballistic nylon vamp and side panel, this one will NOT crease when you rock it during this summer.  The ankle liner features the old school Nike graphic from t-shirts and windrunners.

BLAZER MID ( white/black - olive khaki) - Just when you thought the minds at Nike couldn’t flip something nice like this on a Blazer, they come with this creation… Corduroy accents in Olive, along with the clean white upper, and big black Swoosh.

NIKE DUNK LO CL (white/white - hoop orange) - Once again, make sure you click on the pictures to see the richness this Dunk brings to you.   Semi-Tonal speckled midsole, along with canvas side panel.  It looks basic enough to make people think you don’t care, but has the orange accents that say you do.  The Year of The Dunk rolls on strong!
